It’s back to the 1950s this week with one of the most interesting Contactees of that period, Buck Nelson. Giant dogs, rants about canned pork and beans, the odd phenomenon of present day folks “revising” Contactee books, get-rich-quick schemes, the Queen of Atlantis, saucer conventions, entrepreneurial spirit, and re-working the Ten Commandments. You mentioned the commercialism of Nelson. I just spent a few days in the Gray Barker collection in WV, and I was surprised how mercantile it all was. Folder after folder of cross-promotions, reciepts, quid pro quo trading, and so on. So this fits right in. 🙂
