Is it an abduction? A contact experience? Both? Neither? The encounter that Carl Higdon had in October, 1974 in Wyoming is one of those strange 1970s encounters that doesn’t get enough attention. After…encountering Margery Higdon’s 2017 book about her husband’s ordeal, I thought it would be a good subject for our approach here on The Saucer Life.

This story always stuck with me for its sheer imaginative oddity.
As to explanations, I thought he either had a stroke or some prankster slipped him a hallucinogenic.
