As someone who also has issues with social situations, I feel for this man who was mistaken for an alien by well-meaning people.

I have commented in the past on the overwroughtness of this genres’ writing, but I won’t indict Knight here. Instead I hear James Michener-inspired prose, almost a preview of Centennial. Maybe Mr. Knight was a fan?
